LEFT FULL KIT ATE REPLACEMENT
Replace the original ATE swinging single piston caliper with a modern radial 4 piston caliper and a 320mm floating rotor used on Ducati sport bikes. This designs works with OEM spoked wheels, snow flakes, Lesters or Morris aluminum rims. Compatable with 1974-84 airheads equiped with swinging ATE calipers/6,/7, AND 90S R80 and early R100's.
This popular caliper and hub adapter set includes everything required for a single caliper and big 320mm rotor swap:
1. left side R90X caliper and adapter kit (Mounting Hardware is included).
2. High Quality Metal Gear 320mm semi floating brake rotor.
3. Steel Braided full length hose with a swivel Male fitting at the Master Cylinder and a banjo fitting at the caliper end. (please specify silver or black)
4. A left side 4 pot caliper. disassembled, cleaned, inspected and resealed. New pads included and installed. Choice of calipers
BMW Brembo S1000RR K47 caliper. 34/34 pistons. Teams well as a single caliper with a well maintained OEM under tank or bar mounted 13 to 15mm Master Cylinder (not included). Nice and easy hydraulic ratio. Lighter and better stopping power than dual OEM ATE brakes. Available in Gold. I can paint them silver or black by special request.
Ducati Brembo 696, 796 caliper. 32/32 pistons. Teams well as a single caliper with a well maintained OEM under tank or bar mounted 12 to 14mm Master Cylinder (not included). Nice but firm hydraulic ratio. Lighter and better stopping power than dual OEM ATE brakes. Usually only available in Silver. I can paint them black by special request.
Left calipers are the most requested radial 4 piston calipers for Airheads. I do not always have stock on hand. I can get stock fairly quickly, but please allow 1.5 to 2 weeks to aquire and refurbish the calipers.
PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THE LEFT FORK LOWER SLIDER DOES NEED TO BE MODIFIED TO ACCEPT THE CALIPER ADAPTER. I can supply extra lower sliders upon request and at extra cost.

Note: Some modification of the fork leg is required with this design. Sold as a Hub adapter and caliper adapter for one side only.
As a single brake this system works well with the original 13-15mm master cylinder. With a dual set up a 17mm OEM mastercylinder (34 31 1 234 379) should be used or an upgrade to an 18 or 19 mm bar mounted system from a newer motorcycle.

Calipers Tested:
BMW S1000RR 2009 -18 perhaps other years. These have 34/34 pistons and a slim design that provide lots of clearance for spoked wheels

Dual Ducati 1098,696,796,and 848 2010-13 (perhaps other years) Brembo radial 32mm 4 piston calipers USED AS A SINGLE BRAKE with 12 to 14mm OEM Master Cylinders.
For dual brakes will work with a 15mm to 17mm Master Cylinder (34 31 1 234 379).
Several other European calipers will probably work, the above are what I have been able to test.
Rotors used, note: do not use ABS rotors, the raised tops on the buttons will not clear your fork lowers
2002-2007 Ducati 749, 848, 999 rotors are 320mm.
