DUAL FULL KIT ATE REPLACEMENT
Replace the original ATE swinging single piston calipers with a pair of modern radial 4 piston caliper and a pair of 320mm floating rotors used on Ducati sport bikes. This designs works with OEM spoked wheels (when the early gold S1000RR caliper or the Ducati 796 caliper is selected), snow flakes, Lesters or Morris aluminum rims(the later 2009-2025 S1000caliper must be used with these mag wheels ). Compatable with 1974-84 airheads equiped with swinging ATE calipers/6,/7, AND 90S R80 and early R100's.
This popular caliper and hub adapter set includes everything required for a dual caliper and big 320mm rotor swap:
1. One pair of R90X caliper and adapter kits (Mounting Hardware is included).
2. High Quality Metal Gear 320mm semi floating brake rotors.
3. Steel Braided full length hoses with a swivel Male fitting at the Master Cylinder and a banjo fitting at the caliper end. (please specify silver or black)
These are designed to be used with the OEM undertank Master cylinder. They will work with some bar mounts if the hose length required is approximately 34” and the MC will accept a male fitting. I can also provide my 9" short adapter hoses that replace only the hard pipe section from your main hose to the new caliper. Theses are a good option if you want to use your current OEM hoses or similar format.
4. A pair of 4 pot calipers from the choices listed. disassembled, cleaned, inspected and resealed (2019-2025 caliper will be cleaned, but not rebuilt) New pads included and installed.
Choice of dual calipers: Allow an extra 10 days to aquire and service.
2009-2018 BMW Brembo S1000RR K47 caliper. 34/34 pistons. Available in Gold. I can paint them silver or black by special request. These clear spoked wheels very well, but they have large pistons so you need at least the OEM 17mm MC for these to work as a dual brake set up.
2019-2025 BMW Nissin S1000RR calipr. 30/30 pistons. Available in Black only. These are cleaned but otherwise sold as is because they are fairly new. These are too wide for spoked wheel clearance but will work with mag wheels like Snowflakes, Lesters, or Morris. These will work with 15 to 17mm Master Cylinders. They may also work with a 14mm, but that hasn't been confirmed yet.
2008-2014 Ducati Brembo 696, 796 caliper. 32/32 pistons. Mostly available in Silver. I can paint them gold or black by special request.These clear spoked wheels very well. They have medium sized pistons so you need at least the OEM 15mm MC for these to work as a dual brake set up.
Left calipers are the most requested radial 4 piston calipers for Airheads. I do not always have stock on hand. I can get stock fairly quickly, but please allow 10 to 14 days to aquire and refurbish the calipers.
PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THE FORK LOWER SLIDERS DO NEED TO BE MODIFIED TO ACCEPT THE CALIPER ADAPTER. I can supply extra lower sliders upon request and at extra cost.

Note: Some modification of the fork leg is required with this design. Sold as a Hub adapter and caliper adapter for one side only.
Single brake kits are also a great option. As a single brake this system works well with the original 13-15mm master cylinder.

BMW S1000RR 2009 -18 perhaps other years. These have 34/34 pistons and a slim design that provide lots of clearance for spoked wheels

Dual Ducati 1098,696,796,and 848 2010-13 (perhaps other years) Brembo radial 32mm 4 piston calipers USED AS A SINGLE BRAKE with 12 to 14mm OEM Master Cylinders.
For dual brakes will work with a 15mm to 17mm Master Cylinder (34 31 1 234 379).
Several other European calipers will probably work, the above are what I have been able to test.
Rotors used, note: do not use ABS rotors, the raised tops on the buttons will not clear your fork lowers
2002-2007 Ducati 749, 848, 999 rotors are 320mm.
